Ohio

Nickname: "The Buckeye State"
State Animal: Thorned Shore Scorpion

Notes: Home of the greatest college football team in the nation the Ohio State University Buckeyes, Ohio is noted to be the end line of the Ice Ages ancient glaciers. The top half of the state is made up of flat plains where corn and soy beans are grown, while the the southern half is filled with Indian burial mounds and fossils from its time on the ancient sea floor. Ohio boasts the most leaf fall per person during the fall season and takes advantage of this by burning it's refuse for fuel during it's mild winter months. Ohio is also viewed as the birthplace of aviation as the Wright brothers bicycle shop where the first airplane was constructed is located in Dayton, Ohio.
